The Taiwanese company Asus has launched a new 24.1-inch WUXGA screen for business and office purposes. The Asus BE248CFN has an IPS panel with a rare WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels, 16:10) and a 100Hz refresh rate. It also promises 100 percent sRGB, a 1500:1 contrast, 8-bit color depth, and 350 cd/m² typical brightness.
The Asus BE248CFN ‘s two internal speakers each produce just 2 watts. You shouldn’t expect too much from the advertised HDR10 support because the brightness is too low. Things get interesting again regarding the interface selection: Two DisplayPorts 1.4, an HDMI 1.4 input, a USB 3.2 hub (Gen 1), a headphone output, and an RJ-45 socket are included. End devices connected to the USB hub can access peripherals that are also connected to it.
A USB-C port with DisplayPort alternate mode and 96-watt PD completes the package. Overall, this is a fully-fledged USB-C docking station. One DisplayPorts mentioned is also an output and supports daisy chaining, so you can easily set up a multi-monitor setup with just one cable. Adaptive Sync technology ensures tear-free gaming in between.
Regarding ergonomics, tilt, rotation, height adjustment (130 mm), pivot, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlighting are available.

The new Asus WUXGA screen consumes around 15 watts and weighs 4.05 kg without the stand. It is now available on Amazon and Adorama online stores for $284.99.
