After more than a year, Samsung has updated its tablet line. This year, there is no information about the Tab S10 version. We will have two versions: Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra. The Ultra version will, of course, attract more attention. This year, Galaxy AI continues to be the highlight of the Samsung tablet line, along with the Tab S10 Ultra version, which has the largest capacity of 1TB ever.

Overall Appearance
Regarding overall design, there haven’t been many changes from the Galaxy Tab S8 Series to the Tab S9 Series and now the Tab S10 Series. This is because tablet designs differ significantly from smartphones, which have also seen few major changes in recent years. The Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra remain sleek, attractive, and well-crafted tablets.
The Samsung S10 Plus tablet has a 12.4-inch screen size, while the Tab S10 Ultra has a 14.6-inch screen size. The metal finish with brushed edges and two speaker grilles is familiar to many.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus tablet and the Tab S10 Ultra feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels. These screens offer a brightness exceeding 1000 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
This year, Samsung has introduced Galaxy AI and a new keyboard featuring a Gemini or Bixby quick call button, designed to help Android tablet users, especially those with Samsung tablets, access AI more quickly. So far, I have only seen the keyboard cover for the Samsung Tablet S10 Plus, while the version for the Tab S10 Ultra has yet to be released.
Both will also support the S Pen with a latency of only 2.8ms, supporting 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is also an Android tablet that supports Wi-Fi 7 BE and Bluetooth 5.4. As for the Tab S10+, it is Wi-Fi 6E.
Configuration
This year, Samsung launched the Tab S10 Ultra with 1TB of storage and expandable up to 1.5TB, which is the largest storage capacity ever on a Samsung Galaxy device. In addition, the RAM capacity of both models is 12GB, while the Tab S10 Ultra will have a 16GB RAM version with 1TB of memory.
Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra will have the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip. It’s accurate to say that this is an upgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the Galaxy Tab S9 series, as both the CPU, GPU, and NPU performance have been enhanced accordingly.
The Dimensity 9300+ is MediaTek’s all-big-core SoC model, featuring eight powerful cores, such as Cortex-X4 and Cortex-A720, all operating at high clock speeds. To cool the SoC, Samsung designed a vapor chamber cooling system that is 1.5 times larger than the previous generation.
MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ also supports 11 LLMs on the SoC compared to the competitor’s 6. It is also the SoC model with NPU processing power reaching 68 TOPS, reaching 2293 ETHZ AI benchmark points. In addition, Dimensity 9300+ also has an Immortalis-G720 GPU that supports 2nd ray tracing for some games available on the Play Store, such as Arena Breakout.

Galaxy AI
Equipped with One UI 6.1.1, Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra will have all the Galaxy AI features that Samsung has brought to its devices since the beginning of the year.
Familiar features for users include a smart interpreter, an AI keyboard with suggestions, spelling correction, and image editing tools.
According to Samsung, up to 85% of users upgraded to One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI features in the first month of this update being released to users. That also says a lot about how attractive these Galaxy AI features are to users.
On the Galaxy Tab S10 Series, this time with the S Pen, Galaxy AI will help users’ handwriting when taking notes on the tablet to be straighter and more beautiful.

Circle to Search on One UI 6.1.1 can help you search for images and sounds, whether by playing a melody or humming it yourself. Additionally, it can solve math problems, ranging from basic to advanced.
And speaking of software, Samsung will also apply 7 years of OS updates and security patches for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra.

Price and release date
The Galaxy Tab S10+ starts at $999.99. The Wi-Fi version comes with 256 GB of storage space. Doubling the storage to 512 GB costs $1,119.99 on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. It will be available from October 3rd directly from the manufacturer and various retailers.
The manufacturer also installed a 10,090 mAh (S10+) / 11,200 mAh (S10 Ultra) battery with a charging speed of 45 W, four speakers, and a fingerprint sensor on the display. Android 14 is the operating system, and the package includes the S Pen. Furthermore, the matching Book Cover Keyboard features a new Galaxy AI key.
