Manufacturers previously limited Smart functions to televisions, but finally brought them to computer monitors! Acer is very sincere at this time and has launched the Nitro GA321QU P. It has a 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution VA panel, 180Hz refresh rate, 1ms VRB response time, and 99% sRGB color gamut. It supports AMD FreeSync technology and has full e-sports specifications! Also features a built-in Google TV smart TV function, making the Acer Nitro GA321QU P hands-on experience feel more like using a next-gen entertainment hub than a traditional monitor.

When you’re in a bad mood, you can take out the remote control and switch to online entertainment with a single click to soothe yourself! The remote control also supports Google voice commands, which can be done by shouting.
It has two built-in 5W speakers, and the sound is powerful enough to use it as a TV! In addition, it has many practical functions, such as KVM (Bluetooth), Android phone mirroring (iOS requires a separate software download), multi-window mode, and the ability to connect to an external webcam for video calls or live broadcasts!

Unboxing
We’ve finally waited for monitor manufacturers to add smart TV functions to gaming monitors! From the outside of the box, you can see that the Acer smart monitor is equipped with the Google TV system, which includes Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video streaming services. You can also see WQHD (2K 2560 x 1440) 180Hz in the lower left corner.

All internal accessories include the monitor, power cable, HDMI cable, installation guide, warranty card, remote control, and Type-C cable. The monitor also has a VESA 100x100mm wall-mount lock hole. When it leaves the factory, transparent tape surrounds the screen. You can tear off the tape after you put the monitor in place.
Design and Build
The Acer Nitro GP321QU P smart monitor has a 32-inch VA 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 180Hz refresh rate, 1ms (VRB) response time, support for AMD FreeSync technology, 99% sRGB color gamut, two 5W speakers, and a white appearance.

The screen height is adjustable up to 165 mm. It can swivel left and right by ±60°, and rotate vertically by ±90°. The tilt angle ranges from -5° to 35°.

The snow-white back looks clean, and a three-dimensional Acer Logo is on the upper left. If this Logo is all in white, it is not very easy to identify the brand, and you need to be at a certain distance to see it.

The lower left corner of the screen also has a five-axis direction and power buttons. If the remote control is out of power or broken, these buttons temporarily block it.
The monitor stand has 16 scales, one for each centimeter. There are also cable holes under the bracket to make the cables more neat and consistent.

The monitor features a range of I/O options, including DisplayPort 1.4, USB Type-C (with DP Alt Mode and 65W power delivery), HDMI 2.0, two USB 2.0 ports with Bluetooth KVM functionality, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
4K with Limited HDR
This Acer GA321QU P smart monitor has a hidden resolution of 4K (3840 x 2160) 60Hz. I inquired through Acer, and they replied that it can support 4K input, which is also supported by the PS5 game console.
In addition to the computer resolution reaching 4K, switching to Google TV to watch YouTube 4K videos will automatically adjust to 4K60p, and even HDR-supported videos will be automatically turned on. However, its brightness is relatively low so that the HDR effect can be ignored.

There is no need to set it up. When watching Netflix and YouTube video streaming, it will automatically turn on when the resolution reaches 4K. If you connect it to a computer or laptop, you can adjust it yourself to use 4K resolution. We’ll discuss all these features in detail in our upcoming review of the Acer GA321QU P, so stay tuned.
Final Line
More and more manufacturers are launching smart monitors with the Google TV OS. After using the Acer Nitro GA321QU P, I really like it! Not only is it equipped with Google TV OS, but the panel is also 2K with 180Hz refresh rate and has a hidden 4K 60Hz resolution that can be used. It has two built-in 5W speakers, and the sound quality of the speakers is quite good when watching videos and listening to music!
It also has a white appearance, so I think it’s an excellent value for the price!
Acer Nitro GA321QU P Price and Availability
