The Saros series, in general, and Saros 10 substantially change the Roborock vacuum cleaner robot brand. Now, we users have high-tech home cleaning equipment and care about aesthetics and compactness. To learn more specifically, see the Roborock Saros 10 hands-on article below.

Roborock Saros 10 is Roborock’s top-of-the-line vacuum cleaner robot. It introduces substantial changes that will shape the future of this device line. The design is more compact, and it offers better climbing.
Roborock Saros 10 Hands-On: First Impression
Super Slim and Stylish
It is available in two color options: black or white. In this article, our Roborock Saros 10 hands-on model is white. The top of the robot and the front of the charging station are finished in a mirror-like form. Depending on the lighting conditions and viewing angle, the color can change from white to silver, light blue, or black. The body of the robot and the rest of the charging station are finished in milky white plastic.

Placed next to the Dreame X50 Ultra, the Roborock Saros 10’s charging station is 2/3 smaller than its competitor. Roborock Saros 10 is much smaller than the Dreame X50 Ultra.
The design style of Roborock’s vacuum cleaners on high-end lines is flat and compact. The flagship Saros 10 model clearly shows these details. The charging station has beveled sides and is about two-thirds the size of competing products. Even the vacuum cleaner is significantly compact when the company announced it is only 7.98 cm thin.

Roborock’s latest flagship features advanced details that surpass other robot vacuums. For example, the company replaced the mechanical buttons with a set of three touch buttons on the robot. The mop head can be opened easily with a touch instead of pulling the mechanical joint for the dust tray. Although small, these details give the product a high-end look and suggest it may soon reach mid-range models.

The Roborock Saros 10 has a three-button touch cluster. Next to it are three microphones and a dToF sensor cluster that serves the retractable function of the LiDAR cluster. Press lightly, and the dust tray and mop box will open.

The box includes essential accessories: a user manual and an extra trash bag (one is pre-installed in the charging station).
Advanced Tech for Full-Home Coverage
Roborock Saros 10 is the robot vacuum cleaner with the most potent suction power currently, with several up to 22,000 Pa. This number allows stubborn dirt on carpets and floors to be easily removed and cleaned. In addition to super strong suction power, Roborock equips its flagship model with new “tools” such as the FlexiArm Riser side brush and the DuoDivide dual main brush to handle tangles and hair effectively.

Like many other products, the FlexiArm Riser side brush has a unique design with only 2 brush heads instead of 3. Underneath the Saros 10 is a vibrating mop system, the new generation of Roborock’s anti-tangle hair and fur DuoDivide main brush.

Another outstanding feature of the Roborock Saros 10 is the AdaptiLift chassis lifting system, which allows the robot to overcome obstacles up to 4 cm high. This feature is exceptional and valuable because it helps the robot move to more locations in the house. At my house, it easily overcomes the double steps to the balcony or the steps in the bathroom.
Retractable LiDAR for Smart Navigation
Not only does the Roborock Saros 10 climb better, but it also easily gets under beds and shelves. The company has designed the LiDAR sensor cluster to be completely flat with the robot’s top; now, the thickness is only 7.98 cm, helping it quickly get under the shelves to clean.

The Saros’s LiDAR sensor cluster is quite interesting. First, it can retract, and second, the robot places it at the back instead of the front, unlike many other products. When under a shelf or not in use, the LiDAR sensor cluster collapses like this.
The Saros 10 version also records changes in the cleaning cloth with VibraRise 4.0 vibration technology. The company said this cloth can vibrate 4,000 times/minute with dual sonic mode and 4 separate vibration zones to clean stains effectively. However, since the vibrating cloth cannot effectively clean corners or edges, the company added a small rotating cleaning cloth on the robot’s side. Roborock also provides users the option of a double-rotating cleaning cloth on the Saros 10R version.

In terms of navigation, the Roborock Saros 10 uses Reactive AI 3.0 technology with a combination of a retractable LiDAR system, VertiBeam 3-axis structured light, RGB camera with integrated LED lights and vertical lasers, and updated algorithms to effectively recognize and avoid obstacles.
Long Battery Life & Fully Automated Cleaning Base
The company said that the Roborock Saros 10 features a 6,400 mAh battery, which is relatively large for its compact size. However, the maximum cleaning area on a single charge is only 240 square meters, a modest number compared to the 300 square meters of the Saros 10R—the version using a rotating mop. This vibrating mop technology consumes quite a lot of energy. Of course, 240 square meters is large enough to clean most apartments and houses’ floors today.

The Rockdock Ultra 2.0 multi-function charging station, which comes with the robot, features a compact and eye-catching design. It also includes advanced features such as 80-degree hot water rag washing, 60-degree hot air rag drying, automatic dust collection, charging station self-cleaning, and automatic floor cleaner distribution.
Is the Roborock Saros 10 the ultimate robot vacuum of 2025?
As Roborock’s most advanced vacuum cleaner robot, the product fully integrates the latest technology and features a neater, more eye-catching design than its competitors in the current market.
With a price of $1,599.99 on Amazon, Roborock Saros 10 may not be for everyone, but if you decide to bring it home, you will have a lot less burden in cleaning and, simultaneously, have a beautiful item to display in the house.
I will soon be doing a detailed review of this robot vacuum cleaner model and comparing it to other leading models, but until then, enjoy this hands-on article on Roborock Saros 10.
