Following the recent release of the Samsung Smart Monitor M90SF, the South Korean company is introducing a sister model, the M70F. The Samsung M7 32 UHD smart monitor supports use as a television, for example, and can also run productive applications without the need for an external player.
To begin with, the built-in VA panel is available in 32- and 43-inch sizes. Moreover, it offers a 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 Hz. Additionally, it covers 72 percent of the NTSC color gamut.
The advertised HDR10 support is unlikely to perform miracles due to the mediocre brightness of 300 cd/m². According to the spec sheet, it also offers 1 billion colors and a 3000:1 (32″) and 5000:1 (43″) contrast ratio. The latter promises solid black levels. Thanks to Tizen OS, the screen can be used independently of external devices—including the SmartThings Hub, Bixby, and Samsung Gaming Hub.
On the interface side, Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI 2.0, Wi-Fi 5, a USB 2.0 hub, and USB-C with 65W PD are available. Other features include a far-field microphone, automatic input selection, and two internal 20W speakers.
Ergonomic features include tilt, VESA mount, blue light filtering, and a flicker-free backlight. The Samsung M70F smart UHD screen weighs 11.9 lb (32″) or 18.7 lb (43) without the stand and comes with a remote control.
