Acer recently unveiled its new budget thin and light laptop, the Swift Go 14, offering Intel Core Ultra 7 processors, an Intel Arc graphics solution, and boasting AI support for users.

The Swift Go 14, presented by Acer, flaunts an aluminum build, offering a slim profile at a mere 14.9 millimeters thick, ensuring enhanced mobility due to its lightweight construction of just 1.32 kilograms.

Sporting a 14-inch screen, the Swift Go 14 impresses with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels and, in certain variants, an OLED panel. The screen can achieve a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz while boasting 100 percent DCI-P3 color space and a Display HDR True Black 500 certification.

Although Acer hasn’t disclosed detailed specifications for the new processors, they’ve highlighted the top configuration featuring the Intel Evo Edition, offering the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H.

These budget thin and light laptop models boast Intel AI Boost in select versions, aiming to expedite AI applications. Foregoing a dedicated graphics card, Acer opts for the integrated Intel Arc graphics solution found within the processors.

Enhanced AI functionalities are incorporated for video conferencing, leveraging a 1,440p webcam. Acer PuriedView facilitates eye correction and background blur, while PurifiedVoice diminishes distracting background noise. The laptop boasts multiple ports, including two USB 4 in Type C, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card slot for convenient storage expansion. WiFi 6E and Bluetooth are also supported.

Additionally, Acer introduced the Nitro V 15 gaming laptop, priced at $699, featuring a dedicated Nvidia GeForce RTX GPU. The base model includes an Intel Core i5-13420H, 8 GB of RAM, and an older Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 laptop GPU.
