Acer’s new Swift X 14 2024 (SFX14-72G) is a powerful notebook that weighs only 1.55 kilograms. It features a 14.5-inch OLED display tailored for crisp and vibrant visuals. The device, boasting Intel Meteor Lake and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, serves both creative pros and gamers.
Acer released the latest Swift X SFX14 at CES 2024 in January, with select models in stores since April start. Today, Acer has confirmed that the Swift X 14 (SFX14-72G) is now officially available on Amazon.
This notebook is suitable for gaming as well as tasks like data analysis and 3D rendering. The Swift X 14’s color-accurate display appeals to photographers and video enthusiasts. Its 14.5-inch, 120Hz OLED panel delivers 2.8K resolution and reaches a peak brightness of 500 nits. The OLED display of the device fully supports the DCI-P3 color space. Acer’s Light Sensing technology enables the screen to automatically adjust color temperature and brightness to the surrounding environment.
Acer’s model boasts an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H with six performance cores reaching up to 4.8 GHz and eight efficiency cores. It also features an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU with 6 GB GDDR6 VRAM.
The standard configuration of the notebook comes with 16 GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, a pair of Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports, two USB-A ports, an HDMI connection, and a microSD card reader. Acer will offer a higher-spec model with 32 GB of RAM and either a GeForce RTX 4060 or RTX 4070 Laptop GPU in the future, but has not yet announced the release date.

The Acer Swift X 14 boasts a black casing with a large trackpad and a white backlit keyboard. Despite its simple appearance, it contains powerful hardware within its compact case.

The Swift X 14 2024 stands out for its compact design, measuring just 18 millimeters in height and weighing 1.55 kilograms, despite its robust features. As has almost become customary, the Acer Swift X 14 is also marketed as an AI notebook and supports, among other things, Nvidia DLSS 3.5, the Windows Copilot, and AI noise reduction for the 1,080p webcam.
