Hisense U6N 4K Mini-LED Smart TV with Dolby Vision, Game Mode Plus, and HDR 10+

Hisense has launched its new Google 4K Mini-LED ULED U6N TVs in North America. The new best 4K Mini-LED TV comes in sizes from 55 to 85 inches and features up to 512 local dimming zones. It includes built-in speakers and offers a Game Mode Plus feature.

The Hisense U6N Mini-LED ULED 4K Google TV series features four screen sizes, ranging from 55 to 85 inches. It launches alongside the U8N and U7N models. The LCD TV has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 px and a native refresh rate of 60 Hz, lower than the 144 Hz of the U8N model. Consequently, the movement frequency also decreases to 240 Hz from 480 Hz.

The U6N’s Mini-LED displays have a brightness of up to 600 nits, and the top-end 85-inch model has 512 local dimming zones. For a side-by-side comparison, the 55-inch U6N has a peak brightness of 550 nits and 160 zones, compared to 1,500 nits and 672 zones for the 55-inch U8N. 

The Mini-LED ULED TV supports technologies such as Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos, and offers a filmmaker mode. Game Mode Plus incorporates VRR and ALLM technologies, and integrates 20W and 30W stereo speakers, varying by the model size. Additionally, you can adjust the device remotely using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands.

You can purchase the Hisense U6N Mini-LED 4K Google TV in various sizes—55″, 65″, 75″, and 85″—priced at $599.99, $799.99, $1,199.99, and $1,799.99 respectively, available on Amazon.com. In Spain, Hisense markets this model as the U6NQ, which primarily stands out for its operating system, VIDAA 7.6, instead of Google TV. As of now, Hisense has yet to announce release dates and pricing for Canada, Spain, and other countries.

Looking for a more budget-friendly option? Hisense has introduced the A7N 4K LED TV, available in sizes ranging from 43 to 75 inches. This affordable option includes Game Mode Plus and supports both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. With Google TV OS, it also offers a voice assistant and Chromecast for wireless screen casting. You can find it on Amazon with prices starting at just $250.
