Sony has started pre-orders for its best 4K Mini LED TV for the Bravia 9 2024 model year, and deliveries of the first TVs will begin this month. The new flagship Sony Mini LED TV uses a 50 percent brighter mini-LED backlight. 

Sony has recently unveiled its best 4K Mini LED TV—the Bravia 9. Launched in mid-April, it is now available for pre-order. This cutting-edge TV features a QLED panel enhanced with a mini-LED backlight, boasting an impressive 50% increase in brightness and a staggering 325% more dimming zones than the Sony X95L, ensuring unparalleled picture quality and contrast.

The company claims this is its brightest 4K model, 50% brighter than its predecessor. It comes with two glare reduction features, Dolby Vision support, and tools designed exclusively for PlayStation 5.

Sony BRAVIA 9 Mini LED TV model comes in three display sizes: 65″, 75″, and 85″. The BRAVIA 9’s mini LED backlight works with the new XR Backlight Master Drive technology, also found on the BRAVIA 7. Additionally, the X-Wide Angle and popular apps offer Google Assistant voice commands. 

You can wirelessly share content from your phone using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay 2. The device features an integrated 2.2.2 channel audio system, supporting Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio technologies for immersive sound. Additionally, it is compatible with IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision for superior video quality. For gamers, it boasts exclusive Auto HDR Tone Mapping specifically for PS5 and the new Source-based Tone Mapping (SBTM) feature, enhancing your gaming experience.

The Sony Mini LED price starts at $3,298 on Amazon and will be released on May 13, 2024.
