At today’s launch event, Microsoft unveiled the Copilot+ Surface Pro alongside the new Copilot+ branding and the Copilot+ Surface Laptop. The powerful Windows tablet competes with the brand-new Apple iPad Pro and offers significant benefits. These advantages stem from Windows being a more powerful desktop operating system than its counterparts.

The new tablet, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite, is reportedly 90% faster than its predecessor. The device comes with up to 64 GB of RAM and is available with an optional 5G modem. The equipment features a standout 13-inch display with a 120 Hz OLED panel, a first for the Surface Pro. Microsoft’s new panel achieves a resolution of 2,880 x 1,920 pixels, although details regarding the display’s brightness have not yet been disclosed by the company.

Microsoft highlights that its two USB 4 ports support connecting three 4K monitors, unlike the iPad Pro which supports only one. The 10-megapixel autofocus camera on the back supports 4K video recording. The front boasts an ultra-wide-angle selfie camera with QHD resolution, described as the “best Surface camera ever.” The Surface Pro, powered by Snapdragon X Elite, reportedly offers 14 hours of video playback and 10 hours of web surfing battery life.
