With the Vivobook S 15 S5507, Asus is introducing its first Copilot+ PC, which is equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite X and a 2.8K OLED screen.

Asus introduced the new Vivobook S 15 S5507, which is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite SoC. Asus is thus expanding its Vivobook S 15 lineup and complementing the existing AMD and Intel models. The silver-colored housing of the Vivobook S 15 has undergone minor changes. It features a height of just 14.7 mm and weighs only 1.42 kg, including RGB keyboard lighting.
The new Vivobook S 15 S5507 is powered by the Snapdragon X Elite, a new ARM processor from Qualcomm. It comes with up to 32 GB LPDDR5x-8448 RAM and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 system includes Bluetooth 5.4 support. It also offers Wi-Fi 7 with speeds up to 5.8 Gbit/s for seamless streaming and efficient work.
The Qualcomm SoC also offers a powerful Hexagon NPU with 45 TOPS for fast AI processing. Besides the existing AI functions of Windows like Studio Effects for the webcam, Snapdragon models will introduce new features. These include live subtitles and the ability to turn sketches into finished artworks.
The Vivobook S 15 S5507 has a 15.6-inch Asus Lumina OLED screen with 2.8K resolution (2,880 x 1,620 pixels) and 120 Hz. The narrow screen edges result in a screen-to-body ratio of 89%. Additionally, the panel supports HDR with a peak brightness of up to 600 nits. The OLED fully covers the DCI-P3 color space and is already calibrated at the factory (average DeltaE deviation < 1).

The Vivobook features exclusive Asus AI apps such as StroyCube, designed for AI-assisted sorting, editing, managing, and exporting of recorded raw data. The infrared camera’s presence detection system can tell if the user is looking at the device. It then reduces the screen brightness or locks the device when the user moves away from the computer.

The integrated 70 Wh battery ensures a runtime of up to 18 hours. The device offers various connections, including 2x USB 4.0, 2x USB-A, HDMI 2.1, a 3.5 jack plug, and a microSD card reader. The sound is provided by a Harman Kardon-certified audio system.
Microsoft also introduced the Surface Pro 11 and Surface Laptop 7 are the first Surface devices based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite.
