HP Omen Pro Mobile workstation with Nvidia Quadro K1100M and Intel i7 CPU Launched

HP recently launched the HP Omen Pro – the newest member of the premium Omen laptop family with thin, lightweight and strong specifications.

This HP product is inspired by designs from HP Omen Gaming Laptop launched in May 11/2014. Basically, Omen Pro is a more advanced version of HP Omen Notebook to suit the user needs to use a laptop as a desktop.

This HP Omen Pro laptop uses a 15.6 inch touch screen display with Full-HD resolution, it has a fourth generation Intel Core i7-4720HQ quad-core CPU and NVIDIA Quadro K1100M graphics card. The HP Omen Pro is equipped with 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD hard drives for high-speed PCIe and weight only 2.1 kg.

It is quite difficult to understand is that HP Omen Pro using the touch screen display, but pre-installed on Windows 7 Professional operating system, the Windows version is not an optimal design for this type of screen. The HP Omen Pro with aluminum unibody design, it has a FullHD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which is not very high resolution.

For this specification the Omen Pro classified as a mobile workstation laptop. Regarding connectivity, HP Omen Pro supports DisplayPort and HDMI mini port to help users connect to an external monitor. It also has high-speed 4x USB 3.0 standard. With a thickness of about 19.81mm and weighing 2.1 kg, can not say Omen Pro is a slim workstation.A part of the aluminum unibody design same as previous version of the HP Omen laptop. Unfortunately, HP does not mention battery life of the laptop, but the selling price starting from $ 2,199.
