Sennheiser CX True Wireless Earbuds in Plus version with ANC

Sennheiser is expected to expand its range of the best noise-canceling earbuds with the new CX Plus True Wireless, similar to the CX True Wireless that was launched last June but equipped with an active noise cancellation (ANC) system. The new noise canceling headphones made a brief appearance on various online retailers and started to take pre-orders.

The new Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless will be made in both black and white with availability expected from September 28th. The list price is $179.99 on the Bhphotovideo.com, Adorama.com, and Bestbuy.com, which would place them anyway below the Momentum True Wireless 2 earphones, which still remain the top of the range proposal, and the CX 400BT (REVIEW), was announced last year, but also lacking by ANC.

Just like the Momentum True Wireless 2 (REVIEW) earphones, the new CX Plus True Wireless will also feature the “transparency” function, which improves listening to ambient noise by reducing passive cancellation, the automatic pause function when an earphone is removed and a 7mm TrueResponse drivers.

For the first time, however, Sennheiser should also include Qualcomm’s Adaptive aptX Bluetooth codec which, in combination with a compatible device, ensures significantly higher audio quality than SBC, AAC, or aptX codecs.

Other features include IPX4 water resistance and a total battery life of 24 hours with Quick charging support, 10 minutes of charging gives for 1 hour of playback time. But there is no information regarding the duration with a single charge, with or without active ANC. No information also regarding the possible wireless charging for the case, a function still absent in all Sennheiser earphones.

Apart from this best noise-canceling earbuds from Sennheiser, last month Razer has also introduced a new version of its best gaming earbuds with Razer Chroma RGB lighting – for gaming enthusiasts who don’t want to go without RGB on the go. But there are also exciting technical innovations, including ANC, and priced at $129.99.
