Sennheiser CX 400BT Review: A younger version of MTW2

The Sennheiser CX 400BT is the latest true wireless In Ear Headphones, it’s been over a month since we’ve been using it and we’ve tried to listen to many different types of music for about 1-2 hours a day. These earbuds quickly became stable and balanced.

Sennheiser CX 400BT Review

It can be assumed that Sennheiser entered the True Wireless market quite late, but struggled to continuously renew the alliance within 18 months, and has just released three TWS headphones, we reviewed both the Momentum TW1 (REVIEW) and TW2 (REVIEW) that surprised us a lot because it’s actually better than the rest of truly wireless earbuds, the TW1 is a great headset, but it also has some downsides.

When looking at the Momentum TW2, the obvious point is that its design is still a bit large, when the TW2 provides a longer battery, there is no longer a malfunction, and a finer smaller size that makes it complete.

For us, the Momentum Truerless 2 is the best true wireless earbuds available today for a great audio experience, the downside is that if you never heard anything about the Sennheiser when you hear a high price level then you will find it very expensive. If you have seen our reviews of MTW1 and MTW2 then you will know how we have appreciated these In Ear Headphones.

And when the Sennheiser CX 400BT debuted, we said that we were more than curious because the CX400BT simply had an advantage in that it was significantly cheaper than MTW2 and for those of you who have never used the Sennheiser products or maybe If ever done, this can be the best option for them.

The CX400BT has been told that it uses the same driver as the MTW2 and of course, many people expect to buy a headset of equal quality to the MTW2, but this is actually impossible.

It has a more affordable plastic box but is easier to keep in your pocket, the total battery is not equal to the MTW2 but consumes the MTW1 and continuous listening time is up to 7 hours, the total MTW2 battery is 28 hours when the CX400BT 20 hours is fine, 20 hours is enough.

There are plastic earbuds that have a square and smaller design, they fit easier to the ear than the MTW1 and solve the wear problem, and are on par with the MTW2 in terms of comfort.

The sound quality of the Sennheiser, which is always quite bright and rich in detail, the CX400BT is no exception, it is also so, bright and full of energy. It has a very good balance in all three bands, at its price, it can beat other rivals in one note, literally just one note, you just need a different sound.

The bass is good, slightly higher in volume than the MTW2, but not as much as the MTW1, it would be preferred by youngsters with EDM, the CX400BT may be more preferred to the hip-hop bass genre, most people simply would like this bass.

Treble and MID are what makes the CX400BT different from the MTW2 if you don’t want to say that you like the CX400BT’s MID, it’s clearer than the MTW2. It is suitable for listening to Rap, while MTW2 tries to woo fans of Jazz, Blue, even the Live sounds, the CX400 is not, it focuses on the masses with Hip-hop, Pop, Rock.

We had a very strong feeling with both Momentum True Wireless 1 and 2, we tried to use a lot of illustrated words to establish its sound quality with the CX400BT compared to MTW 1 and 2, It can be said that this is his younger brother.

Sennheiser CX 400BT Review

Returning to the Sennheiser CX 400BT, it retains the nature of the music that the Sennheiser MTW2 brings but is rejuvenated, it sounds stronger, more thorny, not softer. The sound of the MTW2 is such that it melts you, we just continue to enjoy the music, while the CX 400BT is different, it is full of freshness, it inspires you to operate. When we used the CX700BT, we absolutely loved it because the sound it brings is extremely positive and bright.

While listening to MTW 2 we feel that we have been listening to a famous band live echoing for decades, while the Sennheiser CX 400BT is lively but a vibrant sound of new talent waiting for the day to shine.

The Sennheiser CX 400BT can be said to be excellently good if we ask you to try it out for some of you who have never thought of buying true wireless earbuds worth more than $200. That this will not be your surprise with the earphones, especially when you listen to rap music on YouTube, it’s almost as if you’re listening while sitting in a different concert because the music has a different feeling.

Sennheiser CX 400BT Review

The Sennheiser CX 400BT is designed to please anyone looking for music earbuds that cost around $199.95 on average that you can buy on Amazon, and Bhphotovideo. It certainly has some technical flaws, such as noise cancellation, but the reality shows that if it is just saying about its music quality, it is good, a clear distinction between mid, treble, and bass bands is revealed, and huge soundstage, which is rich in detail.
