The Ativ Book 9 Pro is the Samsung’s first laptop which comes equipped with a 15.6-inch 4K resolution screen. Along with there is also a QHD 13.3-inch screen laptop named the Ativ Book 9 Spin.
The Intel quickly replaced by Skylake Broadwell platform so Samsung must change some of its product lines. Earlier this year, Samsung has introduced the Ativ Book 9 with Broadwell processor and ultra-slim design, Samsung continues to offer two new options in Ativ Book series, which is the Ativ Book 9 Pro and Ativ Book 9 Spin with the latest Skylake processor.
The Samsung Ativ Book 9 Pro owns 15.6-inch screen with 4K resolution (3840×2160), powered by an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor clocked at 2.6 GHz and discrete graphics card Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M which is more powerful than than the previous Core M Ativ Book 9 Edition. In addition, the laptop is also equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of solid-state storage can further expandable up to 512GB.
Notably, the Ativ Book 9 Pro also has USB-C. Samsung said the laptop’s battery life is around 6.5 hours. All wrapped in an aluminum body, weighs around 2 kg and just 17.7 mm thin. The Ativ Book 9 Pro prices starting from $1,600 and will be available in November.
On this occasion Samsung also launches Ativ Book 9 Spin. It has a smaller screen size of 13.3-inched, resolution of 3200×1800 pixels, brightness up to 700 nits. It is powered by an Intel Core i7-6500U processor clocked 2.5GHz and ability to rotate up to 360 degrees that’s allowing users to use the device both as a laptop and tablet. According to Samsung, the Ativ Book 9 Spin will provide up to 7.5 hours of battery life.
Inside it has an 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD; while it weighs around 1.3kg and only 14.9 mm thickness. The Ativ Book 9 Spin prices starting from $1,400 and will be available in November. Both these Samsung Laptops will own high-quality display that produces good brightness and outdoor visibility is also very impressive.
