Micromax Canvas 5 4G LTE Smartphone with 3GB RAM Launched

Micromax India has extended its Canvas series smartphones by launching Canvas 5 has been priced at Rs. 11,999. Its successor to the Micromax Canvas 4, which was launched in 2013. But Micromax Canvas 5 comes equipped with a more intense processor, include additional RAM, overhauled camera features, good display quality and long battery life which makes it a good value for money smartphone.

The Micromax Canvas 5 comes with a 5.2-inch IPS screen with 2.5D Curved Touch Panel design, Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels that can translating quite a higher pixel density; furthermore ensured by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. With a 5.2-inch display, user can enjoy all types of multimedia contents and high-end gaming.

The handset is fueled by a 1.3GHz Octa-core processor, housed on the MediaTek MT6753 chipset that’s backed by Mali-T720 MP2 GPU making it a more powerful device. Additionally, there is a 3GB of RAM, so you can expect a high level of performance from the device. Users can’t confront any lag to run heavy applications and games. While talking about its native storage, featuring 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB.

Micromax Canvas 5 4G features a 13-megapixel primary camera on back with autofocus sensor and LED flash. While front comes with a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with flash to capture bright self portraits. Well, this is what at least the trend at the moment seems to be, most devices now flaunt 13MP rear cameras, and that’s exactly what the Canvas 5 does as well.

The Micromax Canvas 5 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS right now, but it will be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the future. The handset packs a phone will have a 2900mAh battery, which is quite impressive compared to its predecessor. MicroMax claims that the battery will give you up to 10 hours of talk-time and 275 hours of standby time. The Micromax Canvas 5 launch date confirmed for Flipkart shop on 10th November.
