Lenovo Yoga 13w Gen 2 convertible laptop with AMD Ryzen 7000

Lenovo has unveiled an updated version of the Yoga 13w Gen 2, a 13.3-inch convertible laptop now equipped with AMD Ryzen 7000 APUs. The Yoga 13w 2023 retains its 51Wh battery, a rich assortment of ports, and a 16:10 aspect ratio, among other features.

Previously, Lenovo marketed the Yoga 13w with AMD Ryzen 5000 APUs such as the Ryzen 5 5625U. Now, with the release of the Yoga 13w 2023 model, Lenovo announces the inclusion of Ryzen 7000 APUs, hinting at potential processors like the Ryzen 5 7530U and Ryzen 7 7730U, possibly based on AMD’s Cezanne architecture. Expect this refreshed Yoga 13w Gen 2 to offer performance akin to its predecessor.

The revamped Yoga 13w 2023 also touts Gorilla Glass Victus protecting its 13.3-inch, 16:10 IPS display, boasting a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, a peak brightness of 300 nits, and compatibility with an active stylus.

Under the hood, users can opt for configurations with up to 16GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and a 512GB SSD, complemented by a 51Wh battery that Lenovo claims can recharge at 65W. Featuring Windows Hello facial recognition, keyboard backlighting, and optional LTE connectivity, the Yoga 13w Gen 2 promises versatility.

For connectivity, it offers a diverse array of ports: 1x 3.5mm jack, 1x 1080p webcam, 2x 5 MP rear cameras, 1x fingerprint scanner, 1x HDMI, 1x SD card reader, 2x USB Type-A, and 2x USB Type-C.

The new Yoga 13w Gen 2 is now available on Amazon.com, priced at $891.46 for the model sporting the AMD Ryzen 5 7530U, 4GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD.

In another release, Lenovo introduced the IdeaPad Pro 5i Gen 9, featuring Intel Evo’s Meteor Lake platform. This latest offering combines cutting-edge processors with an 84Wh battery and a swift 120Hz OLED display, along with the RTX 4050, available in 14 or 16-inch variants. Starting at $1,139, it promises high performance and an immersive visual experience.
