Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy Tab S7 FE Wi-Fi model. The device is similar to the Samsung Tab S7 FE 5G variant, but by dispensing with the modem, the price could be reduced significantly, so that the device can offer an exciting price-performance ratio.
After the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G has been available since May, Samsung has finally presented the Wi-Fi version of the Samsung S7 FE tablet. As the name suggests, this model does not have a 5G modem, but the recommended retail price has been reduced by $70.
Samsung does not confirm which SoC is built into the Galaxy S7 FE tablet, but the processor should be composed of two fast computing cores with clock rates up to 2.4 GHz and six economical cores at 1.8 GHz, which means that the performance is roughly on par with the 5G model that relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G. In any case, the Samsung S7 Tab tablet comes with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory, which can be expanded with a microSD memory card. The tablet has an LCD in 16:10 format with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels.
Samsung offers an optional S Pen and a keyboard case for the Samsung Tab S7 FE. Thanks to One UI 3.1.1 based on Android 11, the tablet should be particularly suitable for multitasking. One of the highlights of the equipment is the stereo speakers with tuning by AKG and support for Dolby Atmos. The 10,090 mAh battery should last up to 13 hours, a 45-watt charger should fully charge the tablet in just over three hours. Samsung installs a 5 MP front camera and an 8 MP main camera, videos can be recorded at a maximum of 1080p resolution at 30 fps.
