BenQ has introduced a new 540Hz monitor with the Zowie XL2586X. Benq’s DyAc 2 model features an almost absurdly high refresh rate, and an external controller manages its various image modes.
BenQ’s new Zowie Esport model targets an uncompromisingly high refresh rate, boasting an impressive 540 Hz specifically for professional e-athletes seeking the ultimate speed advantage in fast-paced games—or those who believe they need it. The bezels mounted on just the left and right sides of the display further emphasize the monitor’s professional quality.
A TN panel, it boasts a typical contrast ratio of 1,000:1 and a brightness of 320 cd/m².The resolution is 1,920x 1,080 pixels – to be able to display video games so quickly, such a low resolution is usually necessary anyway. You can only achieve this high refresh rate on a PC using DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1. The monitor supports a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. The manufacturer has installed three HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4.
Audio output is available, but other features such as a USB hub are completely missing. The height of the screen should be able to be adjusted particularly precisely, and a scale is also available. The BenQ Zowie XL2586X parameters are controlled via an extra controller, and there are also various modes available, for example for playing films or maximum FPS.

The new Zowie Esport model can now be purchased via Amazon for $999.99.
