Samsung’s Budget-Friendly Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 Hits US Shelves with an Exciting $100 Off

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024, first introduced in other regions, is now available in the US. Amazon lists the new tablet at a price of $329.99 for purchase. Although this price may not appear affordable to some potential buyers, Amazon enhances the offer by giving away a $100 gift card with the Android tablet, thus ameliorating its appeal.

The 2024 version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is now available in the United States. Previously, this affordable Android tablet made its debut on Samsung’s official Romanian website before launching in the United Kingdom and Europe. Now, it has officially hit the US market.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has received its second update. Originally released in 2020, the tablet saw its first refresh in 2022. In its latest 2024 update, Samsung has chosen to equip it with the mid-range Exynos 1280 chipset. Despite being an older model, featuring eight cores and threads, it represents an improvement over the tablet’s previous versions.

The SoC is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage space. The fact that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 is limited to 4 GB of RAM is unfortunate. After all, even the much cheaper Galaxy Tab A9+ offers an option with 8GB of memory.

Note that both variants of the Android tablet are WiFi models. Samsung has launched an LTE version of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in the EU, but it looks like the US is only getting the WiFi variants for now.

Other highlights of the tablet include One UI 6.1, an AKG speaker setup, Dolby Atmos support, an 8-megapixel camera on the back, a 5-megapixel camera on the front, an SD card slot, and an S Pen stylus.
