DJI’s New RS 4, RS 4 Pro Gimbals & Focus Pro AMF System announced

DJI is now selling the RS4 and RS 4 Pro video stabilizers contain several improvements over older RS ​​3 camera gimbals, including a new RS stabilization algorithm and a second-generation LiDAR multi-point focusing system.

DJI also launched the Focus Pro, which it touts as its first independent automated manual lens focus control system. It comes with a LiDAR module and a dedicated hand unit, among other accessories.

DJI has launched a new series of smart shooting gimbal models at an event called “Focus on the Vision.” Several leakers obtained early details about the DJI RS4 & RS4 Pro, and the upcoming Drone Avata 2.

As expected, DJI has made many improvements to the RS 4 series to distinguish it from its RS 3 predecessors. For example, both the RS 4 and RS 4 Pro benefit from DJI’s 4th generation RS stabilization algorithm, although only the latest supports the company’s 2nd generation LiDAR multi-point focusing system.

Additionally, the DJI RS4 Series features 2nd generation automated axle locks, while the RS 3 Series does not. Features of the RS 3 Series, such as a 1.8-inch OLED display for parameter adjustment, are still present, as are the NATO, RSA ports, and the charging adapter.

The DJI RS 4 Series starts at $549 for the standard RS 4 as a standalone unit. In contrast, DJI sells the technically superior RS 4 Pro for a minimum price of $869. Both camera stabilizer devices are also available with “Combo” packs for $719 and $1,099, respectively on Bhphotovideo.com and Adorama.com, which add a Ronin image transmitter, Focus Pro motor, and phone holder, among other accessories.

DJI Focus Pro

According to DJI, the Focus Pro is the first independent Automated Manual Focus (AMF) system. In addition, the Focus Pro integrates a LiDAR module which allows focusing distances of 20 meters and a 70° field of view (FoV). Additionally, DJI claims its new LiDAR module supports 76,800 telemetry points, compared to 43,200 for its predecessor. Therefore, the Focus Pro should provide more accurate results.

DJI highlights that the users can still manually adjust focus, aperture, and zoom parameters. It also provides a Focus Pro handle along with Focus Pro motors. DJI claims that these motors improve speed by 30% compared to older models.

The Focus Pro is available worldwide on Bhphotovideo.com and Adorama.com, starting at $999 in the United States for the Focus Pro Creator Combo. The company also sells the Focus Pro All-In-One Combo for $1,849.
