MSI unveiled the Cyborg 15 AI and Cyborg 14 models at CES 2024. These laptops showcase a translucent design, with features including a laptop GPU up to RTX 4060 and dual DDR5 slots supporting up to 64 GB of RAM. The Cyborg 15 AI features an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, while the Cyborg 14 (approx. £1,200 on Amazon) runs on a Core i7-13620H processor, providing the primary distinction between the two budget gaming laptops.
The new laptop boasts the latest Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, incorporating advanced AI capabilities through the integrated Intel Meteor Lake NPU. Meanwhile, the Cyborg 14 brings the hardware of the 2023 Cyborg 15 A13V into a compact 14-inch chassis.
It offers the option of an RTX 4050 or RTX 4060, Core Ultra 7 155H processor, and a 15.6-inch screen. The screen features Full HD resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and IPS technology. It is complemented by an HD webcam capable of recording 720p videos at 30 FPS.
The Cyborg 15 AI includes two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots, supporting up to 64 GB of RAM, a single PCIe Gen 4 SSD with a maximum capacity of 2 TB, and a 53.5 Wh battery.
In terms of connectivity, the Cyborg 15 AI offers a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with DisplayPort, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 input, an Ethernet jack, and a 3.5mm combo jack. Wireless options include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
Additional features include a 4-zone RGB keyboard and dual 2W speakers with DTS and Hi-Res audio support.
MSI Cyborg 15 AI price and release date
The Cyborg 15 AI A1VE, a 15-inch gaming laptop, is now available on Amazon.co.uk for £1,299. It includes the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, RTX 4050 6GB GDDR6, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB NVMe SSD.
Additionally, MSI has recently introduced the Katana A15 AI. This affordable 144Hz laptop comes with AMD Ryzen 8040 series processors and a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display. There are also options for a GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. Additionally, it includes Cooler Boost 5 technology and has a price tag of $1,500.
