BenQ PD3225U 4K designer monitor with IPS Black, MacBook mode, and controller puck

BenQ designed the PD3225U monitor specifically for MacBook Air users, offering several features that enhance the user experience. Users can automatically match the monitor’s color settings to those of a MacBook display, ensuring accurate color reproduction.

Furthermore, users can conveniently adjust the brightness of the monitor using the function keys on a Mac. Moreover, the monitor supports Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, enabling direct charging of laptops. This combination of features makes the PD3225U an ideal monitor for MacBook Air users.

The new BenQ 4K designer monitor with a 32-inch IPS black panel that enhances the contrast ratio, doubling it to 2,000:1 for deeper blacks. Moreover, BenQ increased the brightness of the monitor to a minimum of 400 units, delivering a vibrant viewing experience.

The new BenQ designer monitor features a 4K panel with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. It is capable of displaying 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. However, please note that the monitor is limited to a refresh rate of 60 Hz. BenQ assures users that they meticulously calibrated the monitor at the factory to ensure consistent color accuracy across the entire display.

The BenQ 4K designer monitor includes a unique feature called M-Book mode, which adjusts the monitor’s colors to match those of a MacBook display. It also supports automatic synchronization of ICC color profiles across connected monitors. Additionally, the BenQ Display Pilot 2 app enables users to control the monitor’s brightness using the brightness function keys on a Mac keyboard.

The BenQ PD3225U offers two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB hub with one Type-C and three Type-A ports. It comes with the Hotkey Puck G2 for easy adjustment of settings like brightness, contrast, and volume using a rotary movement.

You can pre-order the BenQ PD3225U on Amazon.com for $1,099.99, and it is scheduled for release on July 31, 2024.

For added convenience, the monitor offers Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) connectivity, allowing users to connect their laptops and charge them simultaneously at a power output of up to 85 watts. In addition, the monitor features a second Thunderbolt port, allowing users to connect an extra monitor or other accessories.
