Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air Laptops’ Price and Specifications

Along with the flagship Xiaomi Redmi Pro, the company has also launched its much awaited and first ever ultra-thin laptop named Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air. The Xiaomi Notebook Air consists of two variants including a 12.5-inch display has been priced at CNY 3,499 – approximately $524 USD / 35,300 INR, and a 13.3-inch variant priced at CNY 4,999 – approximately $749 USD / 51,400 INR. 

Both Xiaomi Mi Air Notebooks are thinner and lighter than the Apple MacBook Air 13, and pre-installed Windows 10 OS, 1080p displays, 1 MP webcam, backlit keyboard and USB-C ports. It is available in Gold and Silver color options.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 12 Specifications

The Mi Notebook Air 12 features a 12.5-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with 300 nits brightness, 170-degree wide viewing angle, 50% NTSC color gamut and contrast ratio of 600:1. The Mi Notebook Air has all metal body with ultra-narrow borders and 135-degree opening and closing hinge.

It is powered by Intel Core m3 6Y30 processor (4M Cache, up to 2.2 GHz) paired with Intel HD Graphics 515. It packs a 4GB LPDDR3 1866MHz RAM and 128GB SATA SSD with an additional SSD slot for expansion. It flaunts a 1.0-megapixel HD webcam and digital array microphone along with AKG customised dual 1W speakers with Dolby audio sound. 

The laptop runs on Windows 10 Home OS and packs a 37Wh battery that is claimed to deliver regular usage time up to 11.5 hours. For connectivity includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, 1 x USB 3.0 port, HDMI, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack options. It measures 292 x 202 x 12.9 mm and weighs 1.07kg.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13 Specifications

The Mi Notebook Air 13 features a 13.3-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with 300 nits brightness, 170-degree wide viewing angle, 72% NTSC color gamut and contrast ratio of 800:1. It is powered by Intel Core i5 6200U processor (3M Cache, up to 2.7 GHz) paired with 1GB DDR5 NVIDIA Gefore GT 940MX GPU. It packs 8G DDR4 2133MHz RAM and 256GB PCIe × 4 NVMe SSD with an additional SSD slot for expansion. 

Rest of the features are similar to Mi Notebook Air 12, except a 40Wh battery that is claimed to deliver usage time up to 9.5 hours and can be charged up to 50% in just 30 minutes. It measures 309.6 x 210.9 x 14.8 mm and weighs 1.28kg.
