HP ProBook x360 Windows 10 S rugged Convertible Notebook

After announcing Windows 10 S version, alongside the Surface Laptop, and Surface Arc Mouse, partners have introduced their first Windows 10 S laptops. Acer introduces the TravelMate Spin B1 with Windows 10 S, now HP also introduced the ProBook x360 Windows 10 S Education Edition.

HP ProBook x360 Windows 10 S is also convertible laptop as the original one, and also share similar feature including the military standard certification to withstand accidental spills and drops by kids. The HP ProBook x360 Education Edition is a rugged 2-in-1 laptop and has a 360-degree hinge to rotate completely into a tablet, or even a tent stand for ease of viewing.

The display is 11.6-inches with (1336×768 pixels) resolution and comes with the MIL-STD 810G standard. It is powered by an Intel Celeron processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. Furthermore, there’s a dual camera system which uses a 1080p HD camera embedded in the keyboard to let users take video in tablet mode as well.

The keyboard is also spilled resistant, it has an inbuilt ‘Take a Test’ app that introduces modern and secure methods of test-taking. There’s also an additional ‘Set up School PCs’ app so that the teacher can set up devices in three easy steps, even without professional help. It supports digital Pen writing as well, and HP will sell the Active Pen as an additional accessory.

For connectivity, includes two USB 3.1, one USB Type-C, one HDMI 1.4b port, one AC power connector, and one 3.5mm audio jack. The battery life is up to 11 hours that claimed by the company.

The HP ProBook x360 Windows 10 S version will retail for $299, and is available in selected stores in USA.
