Microsoft at a hardware event in New York has announced the new Surface Pro 7 with upgraded Intel processor, USB Type-C port, tenth-generation Intel Core CPUs, and storage options that run from a 128GB SSD through to 1TB – which is now available to pre-order in US.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is priced starting at $749 for the Intel Core i3-1005G1 with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model and it is now available for pre-order via Bhphotovideo.com and will start shipping from October 22, 2019.
Features and Specifications
Microsoft Surface Pro7 is ultralight 2-in-1 that offers a laptop-to-tablet versatility. It sports a 12.3-inch PixelSense Display with a resolution of 2736 x 1824 pixels along with a 10-point multitouch. It is now powered by a powerful 10th Generation Intel Core processor (up to Quad-core 10th Gen Intel Core i7-1065G7 Processor) along with Intel UHD Graphics on the Core i3 model / Intel Iris Plus Graphics on Core i5 and Core i7 models. It features 4GB/8GB/16GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128/256/512GB or 1TB SSD.
On the camera front, the new Surface Pro bears an 8-megapixel main rear camera with support for 1080p FHD video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with support for 1080p FHD video recording. It packs 1.6W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium; and Dual far-field Studio Mics. For the sensor, it has an Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and Magnetometer.
It also comes with the Surface Pen that has 4,096 levels of pressure, Tilt sensing, and 0.1mm precision. The Surface 7 comes with a faster Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 LE, USB Type-A, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, Mini display port, Surface Connect, Surface Type Cover Port, MicroSDXC card reader and it also has a TPM 2.0 chip for enterprise security. The battery life on the Pro 7 is claimed to be up to 10.5 hours. It measures 292.1 x 203 x 8.3 mm and weighs 790 grams.
