Asus on Tuesday expanded its Republic of Gamers (ROG) range of gaming laptops by unveiling refreshed models with the latest 8th Generation Intel Core processors and ‘Aura Sync’ technology to help gamers customize lighting. The refreshed range includes the Asus ROG G703, Asus ROG Zephyrus M (GM501GI), ROG Zephyrus (Gx501GI), ROG Strix SCAR Edition, and ROG Strix Hero Edition.

Asus ROG Strix Scar Edition is powered by the latest eighth-generation Core i7 processor (6 cores, up to 3.9GHz – Boost clock) and has a Nvidia GeForce 10-Series graphics. The laptop features an IPS-level display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, and Nvidia G-SYNC technology. There is also a desktop-style keyboard with Asus’ Aura Sync, N-key rollover, and fast-actuating keys.
The Strix SCAR Edition gaming laptop packs NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics, up to 32GB DDR4 memory, and up to 256GB SSD storage. It sports a 17.3-inch display with a fast 120Hz refresh rate, wide-view technology, a wide 94% NTSC (130% sRGB) color gamut and 3ms response.
