With the Magnus One new desktop PC, Zotac is launching a new, compact, and particularly powerful small computer with an Nvidia graphics card and Intel processor.
Zotac is well known as a manufacturer of compact, but sometimes extremely powerful new desktop computers that are suitable for games. With the Magnus One Zotac mini PC, the manufacturer is now offering a new gaming mini PC system. The model is equipped with an Intel Core i7-10700, the eight cores of which clock with up to 4.8 GHz.
Two DDR4 SODIMM slots are available for installing RAM, a maximum of 64 gigabytes can be used. A Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 with an 8 GB GDDR6 memory is used as the graphics card. Image content can be output via an HDMI 2.1 output and three DisplayPort 1.4a connections, an HDMI 1.4 port provided by the integrated graphics solution. The installation of a 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD is possible.
Several M.2 slots are available, whereby the particularly high-performance connection via PCIe is also supported. Built-in SD card reader, a total of eight USB ports in which four support the USB 3.1 standard. One of the other USB 3.0 ports is a Type C connector. The network connection can be wired via a 2.5 Gbit/s and a Gigabit Ethernet port as well as via WiFi 6 AX1650.
The 265.5 x 126 x 249 mm new desktop PC has a 500-watt power supply and is available in both a barebone and a fully equipped version with Windows 10. The latter offers a 16 GB DDR4 memory, a 512 gigabyte M.2 SSD, and a one terabyte hard drive. There is currently no information on the release date, but the Zbox Magnus One is listed on the Bhphotovideo.com and Amazon.com websites for $1,999.99.
Recently, Asus has also introduced the new, ultra-compact Chromebox 4 Mini Desktop Computer is equipped with a 10th generation Intel Core processor that has modern connections, and pricing starts from $489.
