TTArtisan 28mm f5.6 is a modern, ultra-compact wide-angle lens in a retro look with an M mount is intended for rangefinder cameras such as the “Leica M” camera models, but also fits many mirrorless cameras with a lens adapter.
The new TTArtisan 28mm f5.6 wide angle lens should please with its classic appearance and low weight and compact dimensions. Due to its inconspicuous appearance compared to bright lenses, it is ideally suited for use in a street or human photography without being annoying or intrusive. The lens with its brass housing weighs only 151 grams and measures just 51 millimeters in diameter and 19 millimeters in length. This small flyweight still has an impressive visual design with seven elements in four groups. Below that are two elements with a high refractive index and one element with low dispersion, which effectively suppress color differences and keep spherical aberrations in check.
The infinity setting, which is often used for street photography and snapshots, can be fixed using a lever so that the distance is not accidentally adjusted in the heat of the battle.
The lens has a 37mm front thread. The supplied lens hood is made of solid brass, matching the vintage look of the lens. The aperture and focus are set manually.

The TTArtisan 28mm f5.6 with the Leica M mount is already available to pre-order through Bhphotovideo.com, and Adorama.com for $298, and it should be available from mid-January 2022.
