The Viltrox AF 13mm F1.4 for Fuji X mount cameras has been officially unveiled. Given the crop factor, this 35mm-equivalent lens will have a 20mm focal length and is expected to ship in February 2022.
The optical design of the Viltrox 13mm F1.4 lens consists of 14 elements in 11 groups, and the minimum focusing distance is 22 cm. An STM stepping motor is used for focusing. The diaphragm consists of 9 blades, the filter diameter is 67 mm.
The new lens turned out to be compact, light in weight – its weight is 420 grams, has an autofocus motor and a USB port for firmware updates. The lens cannot be called ultra-compact: the diameter is 74 mm, the length is 90 mm, and it weighs 420 g.
Price and availability
You can now order the new Fuji X lens for $469 via the Bhphotovideo.com website. The lens comes with a microfiber case, two caps, and a petal hood. Delivery is promised to start from February 2022.
