Samsung Notebook 9 2016 edition is the latest laptop line-up was launched back in early of this year, now available for purchase in US. It has the same design as its predecessor, but light-weight, thinner, fine edges and switched from aluminum to magnesium alloy body.
Windows 10-based laptops, which are available in two different variants, such as 15-inch Notebook 9 – NP900X5L-K02US has been priced at $1,199.99 and 13.3-inch Notebook 9 – NP900X3L-K06US priced at $999.99. Light in weight, but still feels solid and advanced configurations. It comes with with two screen sizes 15″ and 13″, in which 15-inch variant is substantially thinner as big as a 14″ laptop.
Samsung Notebook 9 15-inch variant features a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with a 99 percent sRGB rating and wide viewing angles. The laptop with 180 degree hinge lets you share your screen with your friends and family. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7-6500U dual-core processor with a 3.1 GHz Intel’s Turbo Boost technology. It packs in 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM and integrated Intel HD Graphics.
The Notebook 9 is equipped with a 256GB SATA III M.2 SSD and has curved keycaps along with AF glass coated touch pad. Long battery life up to 12 hours and also features a fast charging technology that can deliver more than 2.3 hours of usage time after 20 minutes of charging time.
Samsung Notebook 9 13.3 Inch variant also features same Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) low-reflective display. It is powered by a 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5-6200U dual-core processor with a 2.8 GHz Intel’s Turbo Boost technology. It packs in 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM and integrated Intel HD Graphics. Other specifications are similar to 15″ variant.
On connectivity front, both laptops include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, USB 3.0, HDMI ports, Bluetooth 4.1, 3-in-1 SD Card Reader, built-in webcam, microphone, speakers and headphone combo jack. Pre-installed Windows 10 Home (64-bit) operating system.

If you are looking for more higher variant in latest Samsung laptops, Samsung has Ativ Book 9 Noebook which also available in two variants, start at $1,197.99 and go all the way up to $1,297.99.
Samsung Ativ Book 9 comes with a screen size of 12.2-inches, WQXGA LED-backlit display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, brightness up to 700 nits. It is powered by a dual-core 5th generation Broadwell 900 MHz Intel Core M-5Y31 processor clocked 2.4 GHz along with Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. According to Samsung, the Ativ Book 9 will provide up to 6.2 hours of battery life.
Inside it has 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 128GB SSD; runs on Windows 10 Home / Windows 8.1 operating system. On connectivity front, Ativ Book 9 includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Samsung Link 2.0, SideSync 3.0, HDMI ports, Bluetooth 4.0 and MicroSD Card slot options.
