The recently launched MSI G274F (approx. $164 or £220 on Amazon) gaming monitor boasts Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels), 180 Hz refresh rate, and rapid 1 ms gray-to-gray response time. But that’s not all—the newly introduced G27C3F brings a 27-inch 1500R curved VA display, differing from the IPS technology of its counterpart. This variation results in a notably superior contrast ratio of 3000:1 compared to the 1000:1 offered by the previous model.
The G27C3F, with its 8-bit color depth, elevates brightness to 300 cd/m² from the previous 250 cd/m² while maintaining a 1500R display curvature. The Adaptive-Sync feature, referred to as anti-tearing technology, likely implies FreeSync Premium support.
Interface-wise, it includes two HDMI 2.0b inputs, a DisplayPort 1.2a, and a headphone output. While the 1500R VA monitor allows only tilting adjustments, it does offer a VESA mount (75 x 75 mm), a blue light filter, and a flicker-reduced backlight.
The MSI G27C3F claims to cover 90 percent of Adobe RGB, 92 percent of DCI-P3, and a whopping 117 percent of sRGB, boasting a black stabilizer called “Night Vision” accessible via the OSD.
