Philips GoPix 1 Pocket Projector wins two Awards

The Philips GoPix 1, a portable projector, won iF Design and Red Dot awards. The mobile projector can produce images up to 75 inches wide diagonally and has a built-in speaker. You can connect to the mini projector via mini HDMI and USB-C, and its battery can last up to 2 hours between charges.

The Philips GoPix 1 pocket projector won two awards. The Philips projector received an iF Design Award 2022 and a Red Dot 2022 award which both recognize the design of the product. Philips said it was delighted and honored to receive these two world-renowned awards which create the perfect alliance between design and functionality.

Launched late last year, the Philips GoPix 1 is a high-end portable LED DLP projector that can produce images up to 75 inches in diameter. The mobile projector has a native resolution of 854 x 480 px and can support images with a resolution of up to 1920 x 1080 px.

You can manually adjust the focus of the portable projector, and there are manual and automatic keystone correction options. In addition, a 3W speaker is built into the device. 3600mAh battery can last up to 2 hours without needing to be plugged in

The pocket projector’s mini HDMI and USB-C ports allow you to connect devices such as smartphones and laptops. The portable projector measures 78.2 x 120 x 18 mm (~3.1 x 4.7 x 0.7-in) and weighs 0.25 g (~0.01 oz).

The native resolution of the outdoor movie projector is 1920×1080 pixels (Full HD), the contrast ratio is 1000:1, the refresh rate is 60 Hz, the input lag is 16 ms, and is priced at $1,421.
