Nebula, a brand of the well-known manufacturer Anker, presented its two new laser projectors Nebula Cosmos Laser Cinema 4K and Cosmos Laser Cinema 1080p at the CES 2022 in Las Vegas at the beginning of the year and later funded them via Kickstarter. The two outdoor movie projector models are now officially on the market.

The Nebula Cosmos Laser Cinema 4K can already be purchased from Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. The asking price is $2,199.99 / £1,999.99. The Cosmos Laser Cinema 1080p is a bit cheaper at around $1,699.99 / £1,499.99, but it only has a Full HD resolution instead of UHD. This model is also already listed on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk websites.

The Nebula Cosmos Laser Cinema 4K/1080p from Anker uses its laser projection light source to project a bright image of up to 2,400 ISO lumens onto the wall or screen, which, depending on the distance from the projection surface (maximum 4.22 m), can be up to 150 inches in size. Advanced IEA technologies, including Auto Keystone Correction and Autofocus, make it easier to align the image. The manufacturer specifies the service life of the LED light source as 25,000 hours.

The outdoor movie projector is compatible with HDR10 and Dolby Audio and, thanks to Android TV 10, can also access numerous apps and content. HDMI and USB-A are available for players. The Full HD model offers comparable equipment but does not have a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, but only a quarter as many pixels. In addition, both devices can be easily taken along thanks to the integrated carrying handle and manageable weight.

Earlier this month, Optoma introduced a new UHD55 4K UHD projector home theater that projects a bright image of up to 3,600 lumens, up to 300 inches in size, and offers voice control, a game mode with up to 240 Hz, and is priced at $1,799.
