A cine lens manufacturer Meike has released the Meike 18mm T2.1 Super 35 lens for PL and Canon EF mount cameras. The lens has become the sixth in the Meike S35 Cine Lens series.
With the release of this lens, a complete set of optics for film production now consists of the following focal lengths: 18mm T2.1, 25mm T2.1, 35mm T2.1, 50mm T2.1, 75mm T2.1, and 100mm T2.1.
The design of the Meike 18mm T2.1 has 15 elements in 10 groups and a 10-blade diaphragm. It has industry-standard 0.8mm pitch gears on the focus and aperture ring.

Meike recently also made available the new 135mm T2.4 FF cine lens. The Meike lens covers a 45mm image circle and is available in PL, Canon EF, Canon RF, Sony E, and Leica L mounts. T2.1, 35mm T2.1, 50mm T2.1, 85mm T2.1, 105mm T2.1.
The Meike lens features geared focus and aperture rings with industry-standard 0.8mm increments. The optical scheme of the lens consists of 12 elements in 8 groups, the aperture is 17 blades. The minimum focusing distance is 1m, which is quite good for a telephoto lens.
The Meike 135mm T2.4 FF Cinema Lens is finally available to pre-order now on Bhphotovideo.com for $1,099, with shipments expected at the end of October 2022.
