Meike has unveiled its new cine prime lens, the Meike 75mm T2.1 Super35 Cine for EF and PL mount. This PL and EF lens will join the Meike S35 Cine Lens lineup, which includes the previously released Meike 35mm T2.1 and Meike 50mm T2.1 cine lenses.
Like the previous two models, the new cine lens is available for PL and Canon EF mounts. In addition, it is reported that Meike plans to introduce the following lenses shortly:
- 18mmT2.1 – expected;
- 25mmT2.1 – expected;
- 35mm T2.1 – out;
- 50mm T2.1 – out;
- 75mm T2.1 – announced;
- 100mm T2.1 – expected.
According to official information, the optical design of the new Meike 75mm T2.1 Super35 Cine prime lens consists of 13 elements in 11 groups. The aperture consists of 13 blades, and the aperture range is T2.1 to T22. Also provided are data about the image field. It is 33.6 mm, and the minimum focusing distance is 70 cm.
The diameter of the thread of the front filter is 77 mm. The focusing ring has also been developed, it rotates by 270°, and the gears have a standard 0.8mm. The weight of the new Meike 75mm T2.1 S35 Cine lens is 970 grams.
