AstrHori 55mm F5.6 for Fujifilm GFX Medium Format Cameras

AstrHori recently announced the release of a new manual lens with a focal length of 75mm and aperture of F4 – AstrHori 75mm F4 for medium format cameras with a Fujifilm G-mount mount. And now, another announcement from Astrhori: another lens for medium format camera is the Astrhori 55mm F5.6.

The AstrHori 55mm F5.6 lens is positioned as professional optics for portraits, architectural photography, and landscape photography. It is also reported that the bokeh of the new optics has a five-pointed star pattern at f/8 aperture, so the manufacturer advises trying shooting at night and with many additional light sources in the background.

It is a compact and lightweight lens; its weight is 350 grams. It has an accurate focus ring and rotates evenly, according to the manufacturer. There is a special stepped design between the focus ring and the aperture ring to avoid accidentally touching other parts during operation.

The AstrHori 55mm F5.6 medium format lens is compatible with Fujifilm GFX, GFX 50S, GFX 50SII, GFX 50R, GFX 100, GFX 100S, GFX 100 IR cameras.
