LG UltraFine 27UQ850-W Nano IPS Black Display with 4K and USB-C

LG unveiled the new 27 inch 4k monitor UltraFine 27UQ850-W with Nano IPS Black screen, which is primarily designed for business and office work.

Thanks to the IPS black panel, a contrast ratio of 2000:1 is promised. Other features include 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), 60 Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, 400 cd/m² typical brightness, and 5 ms response time (grey to gray).

In addition, the specs for the ex-factory color-calibrated Nano IPS model state a DCI-P3 coverage of 98 percent and a DisplayHDR-400 certification. FreeSync (without LFC) can be used for tearing-free games in between. A black stabilizer and two internal 5-watt speakers with MaxxAudio were also considered.

The range of interfaces consists of two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB 3.0 hub, a headphone output, and USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode and a 90-watt power supply. In terms of ergonomics, tilt, height adjustment, pivot, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), and flicker-reduced backlight are offered.

The LG UltraFine 27UQ850-W, which can be hardware-calibrated (via external products and supplied software), comes with a silver stand and white back, consumes 44 watts in operation, and weighs 3.85 kg without the stand.
