MSI Introduces Creator 16 AI Studio Laptop Featuring Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU and Nvidia RTX 4090 dGPU

The most advanced laptops in the Creator Series: MSI Creator 16 AI Studio features a 16-inch 4K display, Intel Core Ultra 7 or 9 processors, an RTX 4090 dGPU, Wi-Fi 7, and robust security with a built-in sensor like fingerprint protection, and all in a lightweight chassis.

With the latest Intel Meteor Lake emphasizing AI, MSI is expanding its Creator lineup by adding new AI-focused models, such as the Creator 16 AI Studio, which bills itself as a portable powerhouse and is an ideal solution for creative professionals who need a lightweight solution.

The press release mentions that the Creator 16 AI Studio comes with an optional OLED display. However, the online listing by Amazon and B&H photo only mentions a 16-inch Mini-LED.

MSI equips this model with an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor Intel Core Ultra 9 185H which can be supplemented by up to 64 GB of DDR5 memory as well as PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage via two M.2 slots. In addition to the integrated Intel Arc processor, users can have access to an Nvidia RTX 4080 or 4090 dGPU graphics card.

While the audio aspect is average at best on most content creation devices, MSI raises the bar on the Creator 16 AI Studio by including a Dynaudio sound system with 4 x 2W tweeters and 2 x 2W woofers. The audio codec also supports DTS and Hi-Res Audio processing.

The port selection includes 1x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 and 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, an HDMI 2.1 video output, an audio jack, a 2.5 GbE jack, and a microSD card reader. Wireless connectivity gets an update with the latest Wi-Fi 7+ and BT 5.4.

Equipped with a 99.9 Wh battery, the Creator 16 AI Studio has a profile of 19.95 mm and is relatively light (1.99 kg). The security features are also very robust, with a fingerprint reader, dTPM 2.0, and a 1080p webcam incorporating an IR sensor as well as a privacy shutter.
