The MMD brand, Philips, has unveiled a larger sibling to the Philips Evnia 27M2C5500W gaming monitor, which made its debut in 2023. As per the official datasheet available, the new Philips 32M2C5500W, deemed as one of the best 240 Hz gaming monitor models, mirrors similar features.

Sporting a built-in VA panel, this 240Hz ultra wide monitor spans 31.5 inches diagonally, offering a 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution (WQHD), and holds DisplayHDR-400 certification.

The display boasts robust features, including a distinct display curvature, potentially around 1000 R, a high contrast ratio of 4000:1, rapid 0.5 ms gray-to-gray response time, 8-bit color depth, and 500 cd/m² brightness.

Additionally, it touts 122 percent sRGB, and 92 percent DCI-P3 coverage, maintaining a Delta-E value of less than 2. FreeSync Premium Pro is integrated to counteract tearing, while the monitor supports picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes.
