Philips has announced the newest member of the recently introduced Evnia monitor family: Evnia 27M2C5500W. The Quad HD monitor 27-inch gaming monitor has a slim, unspectacular ergo design and offers a native resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, a refresh rate of 240 Hz via DisplayPort (HDMI: 144 Hz), and a fast VA curved panel a response time of up to 1 millisecond (GtG).

The Philips Evnia 27M2C5500W is equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for smooth HDR gaming with minimal latency and has a DisplayHDR 400 certification. According to the manufacturer, the curved VA display also allows wide viewing angles of 178 degrees vertically and horizontally. As for the color spectrum, the Evnia 27M2C5500W covers NTSC with 98.5 percent and sRGB with 119 percent. The 27M2C5500W supports MultiView with two devices and PIP/PBP mode.

When it comes to connections, the Evnia 27M2C5500W 240 Hz curved monitor from Philips scores with two HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces each with support for HDCP 2.2 and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub with two fast charging ports and audio output. All peripheral devices that gamers need for their adventures can be easily docked above them.
