BenQ has launched the TH575, a new 1080p projector aimed at gamers. The company suggests that 1080p resolution at 60Hz with 16ms latency provides an immersive gaming experience at an affordable price. Other features of the gaming projector include a built-in 10W speaker and a LampSave mode to extend the life of the light source.

BenQ has launched a new low-cost DLP projector designed for gaming, the TH575. Also designed for home cinema, the 1080p projector can project images up to 150 inches (~381 cm) wide, with a throw ratio of 1.49~1.64:1 and a Rec. 709. The image is optimized using an automatic vertical keystone correction tool, and the device has a light source with a brightness of 3,800 ANSI lumens that lasts up to 15,000 hours. LampSave mode will intelligently adjust the brightness to extend lamp life.
You can connect the TH575 via a series of ports such as HDMI, USB-A, and 3.5mm Audio. The company claims that features included in the device will enhance your gaming experiences such as 16ms latency, 1080p resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and 15,000:1 contrast ratio.
Additionally, the gaming projector has a built-in 10W speaker. For comparison, the recently released BenQ X3000i (approx. $2000 on Bhphotovideo) can deliver 4K images with a 60Hz refresh rate and 16ms latency or a 1080p image at 240 Hz with a latency time of 4 ms.
