With the BenQ X3000i, a new 4K gaming projector for gaming and home cinema will soon be available for sale. In addition to a 4K resolution, its specifications also include a 240 Hz refresh rate and an input lag of only 4 ms.
After LG introduced the new CineBeam HU715Q laser projector last week, BenQ is now following up with the news. With the X3000i, the manufacturer is launching a new gaming projector. It was already presented at CES 2022 and will soon be available in stores.
According to the manufacturer, the BenQ X3000i gaming projector is specially tailored to the needs of gamers, but of course, it can also be used as a home cinema projector. The 4K projector for home and gaming with true 4K resolution also supports HDR10 for particularly high-contrast images. The high refresh rate of up to 240 Hz and the very low input lag of 4 ms are particularly appealing to gamers.
BenQ specifies the brightness as 3,000 ANSI lumens and the contrast ratio as 10,000:1. The BenQ X3000i can display 1.07 billion colors and covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. For a 100 inch image, the device only needs to be 1.99 m from the screen. The maximum image size is specified as 300 inches.
Other specifications include keystone correction (2D Keystone + Picture Rotation Adjustment, Auto Vertical & Manual Horizontal ± 30 degrees) and a 1.2x zoom factor. Two HDMI 2.0b and one USB-A are available for players. This tech demo from CES shows how the BenQ X3000i performs in practice when gaming.
