HyperX unveils two new Armada gaming monitors with refresh rates up to 240Hz

HyperX introduced 25-inch and 27-inch Armada gaming monitors. For both new products, the aspect ratio is 16:9, with the use of 8-bit IPS panels and compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync technology.

The 24.5-inch HyperX Armada 25 supports 1920×1080 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and 1ms response time. The maximum screen brightness is 400 cd/m2, and the contrast ratio is 1000:1. The display claims 99 percent coverage of the sRGB color space. The HyperX monitor is equipped with one DisplayPort 1.4 connector and two HDMI 2.0.

HyperX Armada 27, on the other hand, is equipped with a 27-inch screen, supports a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, and a response time of 1 ms. The maximum screen brightness is 400 cd/m2, and the contrast ratio is 1000:1. For the monitor, 93 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space is claimed.

The manufacturer also indicates that the monitor complies with the VESA DisplayHDR400 standard. The set of external connectors HyperX Armada 27 is similar to the younger model and consists of one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0.

Both Armada gaming monitors are equipped with ergonomic stands that allow you to adjust the height, tilt, and rotation of the display, as well as 75 and 100-mm VESA mounts. HyperX also introduced the Armada series stand with single or dual display mounts.

At running Gamescom 2022, BenQ also introduced the new OLED gaming monitor Mobiuz EX480UZ. It is the first 4K OLED monitor from the brand, which has a 48-inch diagonal, a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels (4K), and a refresh rate of 120 Hz – both on the PC and a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.

It is also up for pre-order on Amazon.com at $1,711.93 and will be released on October 1, 2022.
