ViewSonic has introduced the VX2758A-2K-PRO, the best 27″ 1440p gaming monitor built around a ‘SuperClear IPS panel. It also combines QHD 1440p resolution with a 170Hz refresh rate, but only 250 nits of peak brightness.
As far as we can tell, ViewSonic distinguished the VX2758A-2K-PRO from the VX2758A-2K-PRO-2 in two areas. Indeed, the PRO model peaks at 250 nits, which is 50 nits and 17% less than the PRO-2. Additionally, the PRO model comes with a simple stand that only allows tilt adjustments, while the PRO-2 offers height, swivel, swivel, and tilt adjustments. So the PRO version also outputs at 170 Hz on its 27-inch IPS “SuperClear” display with a native resolution of 1440p (2560 x 1440).
Additionally, the VX2758A-2K-PRO features DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 video connections, as well as a 3.5mm jack for connecting external audio equipment. Unfortunately, a USB hub and internal speakers are not present, nor is an Ethernet connection.

As of now, Amazon.co.uk is selling the VX2758A-2K-PRO 27″ 1440p 170Hz gaming monitor for £200.
