The PD2706UA is a new 4K designer monitor with which BenQ should also and especially appeal to professional or demanding users. A special stand is a built-in KVM switch, Ergo Arm design, DisplayHDR 400, and USB-C.
The BenQ PD2706UA is a new 4K designer monitor for professionals. According to the manufacturer, the graphic designer screen is already calibrated and should come with a color deviation of Delta E of less than 3. The P3 color space is said to be covered by 95 percent, and the sRGB and Rec. 709 color space is in full.
The BenQ PD2706UA has a 27-inch IPS panel with 4K resolution, which will be the best resolution for graphic design. It has a brightness of 350 nits, a 1200:1 contrast ratio, a 5 ms response time, and a refresh rate is 60Hz.
For connectivity, the graphic designer screen packs HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB-C ports for connecting external image sources. There is also support for a KVM switch that makes it possible to use not only the keyboard and mouse but also the display itself on several systems – for example, a PC and a notebook. Switching should be easy to do by pressing a button on the Hotkey Puck G2. Picture In Picture and Picture By Picture is supported.
A total of four USB 3.2 ports are available for connecting accessories to the display, one of which is in type C format, and the other three USB 3.2 ports are in type A. As usual, there is a 3.5-millimeter jack that allows external speakers to be connected. Two 2.5-watt speakers are installed.
The BenQ PD2706UA professional monitor also claims the special Ergo Arm design. This allows the monitor to be positioned quite freely, and use in pivot mode is also supported. Height adjustment is also possible.
