Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is now available in UK. The e-retailer Amazon.co.uk has started to sell the new Xiaomi phone in the country. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 was first introduced by the Chinese company back in October last year and has taken over three months to reach the UK market. The device comes with a magnetic sliding front camera, a dual vertical camera setup, two cameras at the front, and a true bezel-less display. The Mi Mix 3 smartphone sports no display notch, and negligible chin at the bottom either. To incorporate all the sensors, Xiaomi has hidden them behind the display, and they slide out via a manual pop-up magnetic slider mechanism.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 price in UK has been at £537.80 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage UK Version. The handset comes in Onyx Black (LINK) and Sapphire Blue (LINK) color options.
Other big features of the Mi Mix 3 include Snapdragon 845 SoC, and a 24-megapixel front AI-based camera and the company also touts that DxOMark has given it an overall score of 103, with a photo score of 108 and a video score of 93. This places it behind the Huawei P20 Pro and iPhone XS Max in terms of overall score, and at the same level as the HTC U12+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 103.8% NTSC Color Gamut, 600 nits brightness, 60000:1 contrast ratio and 93.4% screen-to-body ratio, which is reduced by 4.46mm compared to the Mi MIX 2S. It also has a customized antenna design so the antenna space is reduced by 72%.
It has a magnetic slider design with neodymium permanent magnets, making the sliding screen more reliable and functional. You can answer a call, take a selfie, open the shortcuts drawer and do more just by sliding up. You can also personalize the sound of the screen sliding with five different sounds. The company says that the slider will last for 300,000 cycles.
The handset is powered by a 2.8 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 845 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU and 6GB LPDDR4x of RAM with 128GB storage. It has support for Google ARCore and runs Android 9 Pie with support for AI voice assistant as well as a dedicated AI button to launch it.
On the camera front, the Mi Mix 3 flaunts a 12-megapixel rear camera with 6mm wide-angle lens, 1/2.6″ Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4µm pixel size, 4-axis OIS, f/1.8 aperture, Dual Pixel autofocus, Optical zoom, 4K video recording, 960 fps slo-mo recording, dual LED flash and a secondary 12-megapixel telephoto lens with Samsung S5K3M3+ sensor for AI portraits, 1.0 µm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture, 2X zoom, AI scene recognition and loss-less zoom.
For selfie, there is a 24-megapixel front camera with Sony IMX576 sensor, Super Pixel low-light technology, 4-in-1 Super Pixel, and secondary 2-megapixel DOF OV02A10 sensor, 4K video recording 960fps slow-motion video recording and customized high CRI selfie light. It also comes with Steady handheld night photography for better low-light images.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has a ceramic back, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and packs a 3200mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ fast charging as well as 10W wireless charging, and comes with the wireless charger in the box. It supports Dual SIM slot with dual standby and for connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac MU-MIMO, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5, and USB C. The device measures 157.89x 74.69x 8.46mm and weighs 218 grams.
