MSI launches a new desktop workstation solution for Vortex series called MSI Vortex W25. The Vortex W series product is characterized by such small dimensions that it can be easily positioned above the desk thanks to a special stand supplied in bundles. Dimensions that do not affect a computing power anything but contained.
New Vortex W25 desktop workstation features a 2.5L chassis. Among the main features of this new product, we find the presence of an NVIDIA Quadro P5200 GPU. In addition to this graphics card is not missing an eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processor and two configurable DDR4-2400 slots with amounts of RAM up to 64GB.
Compared to the previous generation, thanks to these new components, there will be a 30% increase in performance in the CPU area and a 40% increase in the graphics component. An improvement that makes this Vortex W25 suitable for 3D and VR processing.
Not even missing a VESA Mount that allows you to place the Vortex easily, available in small size, and easily attached to the back of monitors to save desk space.
MSI did not only upgrade its desktop PC but also upgrade its Mobile Workstations and announced a refreshing variant of the WT75, WS63, and WE series laptops. All these are portable mobile workstations characterized by the presence of Nvidia Quadro GPUs combined with processors that vary between the latest Intel Core i7 and Intel Xeon.
Obviously, a new update that guarantees better performance than the previous generation products. A performance increase that varies depending on the series, but generally around a total of 30/40%.
All products come with a Windows Hello certificate fingerprint reader and advanced data protection security systems.
MSI Vortex W25 is available to buy at a starting price of $2049 in the United States. As for the mobile workstations, will be available later this summer.
