LG Stylus 2 Plus has been quietly launched in Taiwan on Today (20th May), it is the latest mid-range smartphone device from the company in the Stylus series. It is said to be an improved and upgraded variant of the LG Stylus 2 was launched back in March at MWC 2016. The LG Stylus 2 Plus is available in Black, Brown and Gold color variant and has been priced at 10,900 TWD – approximately $332 USD. It will go up for pre order in Taiwan starting from next month.
The LG Stylus 2 Plus sports a 5.7-inch IPS display with Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution that can deliver a high pixel density of 386ppi. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz octa-core processor that’s fueled by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset with Adreno 505 GPU. The device packs in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 200GB with the help of microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the Stylus 2 Plus bears a 16-megapixel autofocus primary camera on the back with LED flash. It can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with wide angle lens to capture a wide group selfies and high quality video chatting. The handset also equipped with a Power and Volume button on the back panel as its predecessor.
The Stylus 2 Plus runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with LG 5.0 UI interface on top. It packs a 3000mAh battery is rated to deliver up to 300 hours of standby time and up to 10 hours of talk time. It has a dual SIM card slot with dual standby on board along with 4G LTE connectivity, apart from 4G includes 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, NFC, USB 2.0, OTG, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio connectivity options. It measures 155 x 79.6 x 7.4 mm and weighs 146 grams.
Additionally, LG Electronics has also announced two more LG Cell Phones including the LG Stylus 2 and LG K8 smartphones with Stylus 2 Plus in Taiwan.
