With the Liva Z3 Plus and Liva Z3E Plus, ESC has introduced two new, compact Mini Desktop PCs. These mini computers are equipped with a Comet Lake U processor and support fast SSDs.
Both the Liva Z3 Plus and the Z3E Plus are equipped with processors from Intel, specifically, buyers can choose between the Intel Core i3-10110U, Core i5-10210U, Core i7-10510U, and Core i7-10710U. The latter processor is equipped with six computing cores, with the maximum turbo clock frequency being specified at 4.7 GHz.
There is space for up to 32 gigabytes of DDR4 RAM in two SO-DIMM slots, with a memory frequency of 2,400 or 2,666 MHz being supported. A difference between the Liva Z3 Plus and the Liva Z3E Plus tiny PC, which is 117 x 128 x 52.9 millimeters and almost 18 millimeters higher: In the larger model, in addition to an M.2 2280 or M.2-2242 SSD, 2.5-inch mass storage can be accommodated. The Liva Z3E Plus comes with two RS232 ports.
Both small computers can be connected to a wireless network via WiFi 802.11 ax, in addition, there are two gigabit LAN ports. Four USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports are available for connecting external storage media and peripheral devices, one of which is Type C. Both models come with an HDMI and Mini DisplayPort, the Liva Z3E Plus is additionally and optionally also available with an HDMI input.
In addition to a combined 3.5 mm jack connection, there are four digital inputs for microphones. According to the manufacturer, Windows 10 is supported.
Currently, there is no concrete information about the Liva Z3E Plus, but the ECS Liva Z3 Plus Mini Desktop PC has been listed on the Newegg.com store for $488.49.
